Double demerits are in force Thursday April 17 till Monday April 21 2025 inclusive.Get caught speeding, using a mobile phone illegally, not wearing or incorrectly wearing a seatbelt or motorcycle helmet this long weekend and you’ll face double the points. Double demerits start at midnight tonight and continues until 11:59pm Monday 21 April 2025.

Daylight Saving Time ends this weekend Wentworth Shire residents are reminded to set clocks back one hour before going to bed on Saturday night. The official change occurs at 3am on Sunday 6 April 2025. This is also a timely reminder to check and replace smoke alarm batteries where needed.
